This works well in collecting pet hair/fur.
Sadly the design is flawed. On the handle there is a button which when touched allows the door to the cavity holding all the collected pet fur to flop open and tumbleweeds of dander and fur fall out. The handle is very short and it is almost impossible not to release the flap when in use and I have very small hands. I either have to hold the flap with my thumb or use masking tape to secure it. For comfort and function I use painters tape.
If you have big hands then it would be very frustrating.
This is basically a good product but fails in its application.
